I just returned from our first show of the Season.  It was the Brimfield Antiques Show.  The week was long - chilly- and a few rainy days.  In spite of all of that - the crowds came.  Setting up on Monday - our expectations were grim - due to the economy and gas prices!!  But, by the end of the week - most dealers had a succesful show.  Many of our collectors came to see our new paintings and made several new friends through out the week.

My name is Charlie Munro and I am married to Jan Munro.  We are both Contemporary Folk Artists.  Since Jan is the famous artist in the family - I have posted some of her work in the photo album.  I will post some of my work in the next few days.   We have been painting for over 35 years now.

 

We show our paintings at several Galleries in the Country and we exhibit our newest pieces at the Brimfield Art and Antique Fair in Brimfield, Ma. 3 times a year.  (Check our events for upcoming dates.)    We also teach painting at in the summer at a few Museums as Seminars.  I haven't got time to post our resumes here tonight - but you can visit our web site at:  www.jlmunro.com
